TextTree は、テキストファイルとフォルダを使って思考を扱うためのツールです。日誌、ログ、メモ、アイデアの断片など、まだ形になりきっていない言葉を残し、見直し、少しずつ整理していくための小さな作業台として、考えの受け皿になることを目指しています。
TextTree is a tool for working with your thoughts through text files and folders. It aims to be a small workbench—a place to hold your thoughts—where you can keep, revisit, and gradually organize words that have not yet taken shape, such as journals, logs, notes, and fragments of ideas.
ガイド記事について
Guide Articles
TextTree の具体的な使い方をイメージしやすいように、メモ術や情報の管理方法などを扱うガイド記事を用意しています。たとえば 時間ログを書く では、作業の開始や区切りをテキストに残していく使い方を紹介しています。
We've prepared guide articles on note-taking and information management to help you picture how TextTree fits into daily use. For example, Writing a Time Log shows how to record the start and breaks of your work in plain text.
自分自身でもすべてを実践できているわけではありませんが、考え方として参考になる部分を取り込みながら、この道具を使ってきました。
I don't practice everything in the guides myself, but I've used this tool while drawing on the ideas that feel useful.

TextTree は、もともと Windows のフリーソフトとして作ったアプリでした。自分自身でも20年以上使い続けてきた道具で、今でも Vector で配布されています。
TextTree started as a free Windows application. It's a tool I've used myself for over 20 years, and it's still available on Vector.
AI と共に作る
Creating with AI
AI とテキストをやり取りする機会が増えた今、もう一度この道具を作り直したら便利に使えるかもしれない。そう考えて、AIとやり取りしながら形にする「実験アプリ」として開発しています。
As conversations with AI become more common, I thought rebuilding this tool might make it even more useful. So I’m developing it as an “experimental app,” shaping it through an ongoing exchange with AI.
AIチェックを使えば、TextTreeでまとめたテキストや、カードと矢印で組み立てた図にも、AIの視点を加えながら見直すことができます。TextTreeそのものだけでなく、ここで生まれるものもAIと共に育てていける道具を目指しています。
AI Check also gives you another perspective on the text you organize in TextTree and the diagrams you build with cards and arrows. My aim is for AI to help shape not only TextTree itself, but also the things people create with it.
この道具が、誰かの情報や思考を整理する助けになれば嬉しく思います。
I hope this tool helps someone organize their information and thoughts.
