基本方針

Basic Policy

TextTree はユーザーのプライバシーを尊重して設計されています。本アプリケーションは、後述の「AIチェック」機能をお使いにならない限り、すべての処理をお使いのブラウザ上で完結し、外部サーバーへのデータ送信を一切行いません。

TextTree is designed with respect for user privacy. Unless you use the "AI Check" feature described below, all processing is completed within your browser, and no data is sent to external servers.

保存されるデータ

Data Storage

  • フォルダ一覧・ファイルハンドル — ブラウザの IndexedDB に保存されます。他のサイトやアプリからはアクセスできません。
  • アプリ設定・UI 状態 — ブラウザの localStorage に保存されます。同様に、このブラウザ内にのみ存在します。
  • ファイルの読み書き — ブラウザの File System Access API を通じ、ユーザーが許可したローカルフォルダにのみアクセスします。
  • Folder list & file handles — Stored in the browser's IndexedDB. Not accessible from other sites or apps.
  • App settings & UI state — Stored in the browser's localStorage. Likewise, exists only within this browser.
  • File read/write — Accessed only through the browser's File System Access API, limited to folders the user has permitted.

外部への送信

External Data Transmission

本アプリケーションは、後述の「AIチェック」機能・「AI概要」機能をお使いにならない限り、ユーザーのファイル内容・設定・操作履歴などを外部へ送信することはありません。

Unless you use the "AI Check" or "AI Summary" features described below, this application does not transmit your file contents, settings, or usage history to any external party.

About the AI Check Feature

「AIチェック」機能は、開いているファイルの内容について AI から客観的なフィードバックを得るための機能です。この機能をお使いになると、対象ファイルの内容が、TextTree が運用するサーバーを経由して Google の Gemini API へ送信されます。使用する API キーはユーザー自身が取得・設定したものです。このサーバーはリクエストにアプリ情報を加えて Gemini API へ転送しますが、ファイルの内容や API キーを保存・記録することはありません。個人情報や重要な情報を送信するかどうかは、ユーザー自身でご判断・管理ください。送信されたデータは Google のプライバシーポリシーに従い管理されます。

The "AI Check" feature lets you get objective feedback from an AI on the content of the file you have open. When you use this feature, the content of the target file is sent through a server TextTree operates to the Google Gemini API. The API key used is one you have obtained and configured yourself. This server forwards the request to the Gemini API together with information about the app, but does not store or log your file content or API key. Whether to include personal or other sensitive information is up to you to judge and manage. Data sent this way is managed in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

  • この機能は、AIチェックパネルでメッセージを送信するボタンを押したときにのみ動作します。それ以外の操作でファイル内容が外部へ送信されることはありません。
  • API キーはブラウザの localStorage にのみ保存されます。
  • 不正利用防止のため、送信元の IP アドレスを一時的に参照することがあります。ファイルの内容とは結び付けて保存されません。
  • Google のプライバシーポリシー: https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • This feature only operates when you press the send button in the AI Check panel. No file content is sent externally through any other action.
  • Your API key is stored only in your browser's localStorage.
  • For abuse prevention, we may temporarily reference the sending IP address. This is not linked to your file content.

AI概要機能について

About the AI Summary Feature

「AI概要」機能は、フォルダビューアの各行に、AI が生成した内容の要約を表示する機能です（既定は無効。設定でONにした場合のみ動作します）。この機能を有効にすると、対象ファイルの内容の先頭部分が、TextTree が運用するサーバーを経由せず、ブラウザから直接 Google の Gemini API へ送信されます。使用する API キーは、AIチェック機能と共通の、ユーザー自身が取得・設定したものです。

The "AI Summary" feature shows an AI-generated one-line summary on each row in the folder viewer (disabled by default; it only runs once you turn it on in settings). When enabled, the beginning of the target file's content is sent directly from your browser to the Google Gemini API, without going through any server operated by TextTree. The API key used is the same one you obtained and configured for the AI Check feature.

  • この機能は設定でONにしたときのみ動作します（既定はOFF）。
  • 送信は、フォルダビューアでフォルダを表示したとき、ファイルを編集して保存したとき、ツリーでフォルダを展開したとき（起動時の展開状態の復元を含む）、「このフォルダ以下すべて生成」を押したとき、概要が設定した日数を超えて古くなり作り直しの対象になったとき、のいずれかで発生します。
  • フォルダ全体の概要を生成する際は、そのフォルダ内の各項目の名前と1行概要のみを送信し、各ファイルの本文そのものは送信しません。
  • API キーはブラウザの localStorage にのみ保存されます（AIチェック機能と共通）。
  • 送信したデータの取り扱いは Google 側の規約に従います。詳細は変更される可能性があるため、最新の情報は Google 公式のご利用規約・プライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。

  • This feature only operates when you turn it on in settings (off by default).
  • Sending occurs when: you view a folder in the folder viewer, you edit and save a file, you expand a folder in the tree (including restoring expanded folders on startup), you press "Generate all under this folder," or a summary has aged past the configured number of days and becomes due for refresh.
  • When generating a summary for a whole folder, only the names and one-line summaries of the items inside it are sent — the actual file contents are not sent for that request.
  • Your API key is stored only in your browser's localStorage (shared with the AI Check feature).
  • How sent data is handled is governed by Google's own terms, which may change. Please check Google's official terms of service and privacy policy for the latest information.

アクセス解析について

About Analytics

サービス改善を目的として Google アナリティクス 4（GA4） を使用しています。GA4 はページビューなどの匿名のアクセス情報を収集し、Google のサーバーへ送信します。収集されたデータは Google のプライバシーポリシーに従い管理されます。

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for service improvement. GA4 collects anonymous access data such as page views and sends it to Google's servers. Collected data is managed in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

データの削除

Deleting Your Data

保存されたデータはアプリ設定の「アプリを初期化」ボタン、またはブラウザのサイトデータ消去機能で削除できます。

Stored data can be deleted using the "Reset App" button in the app settings, or through your browser's site data clearing feature.
